The power of a song over your life. 🎼

2 Kings 3:15

¹⁵ Then Elisha said, " now get me a musician.” As the musician played his harp, the power of the Lord came on Elisha🔥

And he said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Dig ditches all over this dry stream bed. ¹⁷Even though you will not see any rain or wind, this stream bed will be filled with water, and you, your livestock, and your pack animals will have plenty to drink.’'✍️

One day, the King of Israel, the king of Judah and the King of Edom went to war against the King of Moab.

After walking for seven days in the desert, all the water they had gone with got done and they were so stressed and stranded, even the soldiers became so weak that even the lame men could fight and defeat them.

But the King of Judah called Jehoshaphat, who trusted in the Lord said " is there no prophet around here so that we can consult, may be he can help us out."🤔 And Prophet Elisha was brought to them.

But even by that time, God had not told Elisha anything concerning these three Kings. So he decided to consult the Lord and find out.

He asked them to get for him a musician, the musician was brought in and he played for him the harp.

As the Musician was playing the Harp, the spirit (power) of God came upon him and he began to prophesy 🔥 saying:

( 2 Kings 3: 'Dig ditches all over this dry stream bed. ¹⁷Even though you will not see any rain or wind, this stream bed will be filled with water, and you, your livestock, and your pack animals will have plenty to drink).

The Lord provided water to fulfill the prophecy and that's how they survived death.

Imagine, a man just sung a song and the spirit of the Lord came upon a Elisha. That means you can as well listen to a song that invites the spirit of God upon your life.

For the spirit of God to come upon Elisha, it means the song or beats he played had something to do with God, it impacted his life and he was able to prophesy. The song was inspired by God's spirit.

So here is the point, every song that is sung in this world has to be inspired by a certain spirit, either holy or evil. The only way we can tell the spirit behind it is by listening to the words there in.

Just one song is enough to either destroy or develop you.

Let's look at King Saul, Saul used to be disturbed by evil spirit, and everytime the evil spirit comes, David would play a song and the evil spirit would leave him (1 Samuel 16:23).

So you too can as well listen or sing songs that can chase or invite evil spirits into your life.🤨

That's why this generation has a big problem overcoming certain problems like addictions, sexual sins, sicknesses, depression and other issues. It is because every song they hear invites those spirits into there lives.

I have been in situations where the spirit of God would only signal me to sing a song and a person get delivered.

Testimony

I remembered one day, I prayed for a lady, she was very sick and unconscious and afterwards she recovered and came back to her senses again.

Everybody was excited because at first they didn't even think I would help, for her situation was really bad...but as they were smiling the holy spirit told me that there is one group of evil spirits which refused to go.

So I asked her, "do you feel any pain?", she said yes, and I asked her, "where?" she pointed her neck.

We prayed and prayed but this fellow refused to leave her, then at last, I remembered and decided to just sing a song. I just told people to sing praises.

Am telling you ladies and gentlemen, just after few seconds to finishing the first song of praise, the evil spirits came out all and all the pains she had went with it. Glory be to God👏

Now, If the scripture says the word of God is powerful (Hebrews 4:12) 🔥, what about a song comprising of those many words? And so are the evil songs. Therefore be wise what you play and listen, because they can easily alter your destiny.

Why should you listen to a person praising a woman's breast, what revelation is there if not demonic? I don't care what modern terms(slangs) they use to cover up their evil words. Something sinful will remain sinful, it's like covering a dead body with a beautiful perfume and expensive cloth, it doesn't make it alive anyhow.

The videos and pictures on social media, and other platforms are under the influence of a spirit, either holy or evil, that's the same evil Spirits that disturbed the Israelites.

That's why when you watch certain movies or listen to certain songs, prayers become hard. You become lazy and so tired to pray, but you can manage to dance till midnight.

That's why Jesus said, be careful what you see and how you see it. What you hear and how you hear it. (Luke 8:18)

And about the eyes he said, "³⁵ Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. "(Luke 11:35)

Even what they call the false prophets, they don't come from far, they come from among the believers. The Bible says they were once believers and some even preachers but because they gave heed to the doctrines of the devil and seducing spirits, that's how they ended up becoming faulty (1timothy 4:1), because a little yeast make the whole dough rise.

Admonition

Proverbs 22:3 A prudent and far-sighted person sees the evil [of sin] and hides himself [from it],

But the naive(simpletons, unthinking one) continue on and are punished [by suffering the consequences of sin].

I thank God for making us such a strong, wise and intelligent generation, who foresee evil before they occur. His grace is indeed strong. Glory be to God

Prayer

Lord God of heaven and earth, I thank you for giving us the spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. For you have lifted us up, far above the principalities and powers and dominions. And you have made us a sensible generation beyond the errors of this generation through your Grace. Thank you Jesus. Amen
